High Waisted + Distressed Tie Dye Shorts With Studded Pockets!
This is for the anon who had asked me to do a tutorial on the high waisted and distressed tie dye shorts with studded pockets!
I figured that since I’ve already done a tie-dye DIY, as well as a DIY that included studded pockets, I will just sum everything up!

Ok, firstly grab your pair of high waisted shorts that you want to tie dye… it works better if they are white! Next, you’re going to follow the ombre/tie dye shorts DIY. When those are completely finished, go into my bleached shorts with studs DIY, and follow the steps on how to bejewel your shorts :)! When you are done, you should be left with a pretty sick pair of shorts :).
If you want some tips on how to distress your own pair of shorts follow these steps:
1. Take a pair of scissors and cut some small slits where you would like your holes to be.
2. Take a pair of tweezers and pull on the threads all around the slits in order to fray them.
2b. I actually never used a pair of tweezers to fray my shorts… after washing them a couple of times, they became frayed all by themselves!
3. That’s it! It’s pretty simple.
I hope that this simple explanation was alright. Hopefully it helped you with what you were looking for! Some time in the near future I’ll make a pair of these bad boys and post some pics of the process… but I hope this will do for now!
